About the role
- Leads and performs the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services
- Works collaboratively with other stakeholders in focused, agile-inspired sprint teams
- Provides oversight and consultation of work intake processes and execution of requests
- Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards
- Prepares, deploys, and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages
- Provides Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support
- Supports and participates in component research to provide input for more comprehensive evaluation
- Leads and performs implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects
Requirements
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within last 5 years
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
- 3+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
- Ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations
- Willing to cover on call shifts, including weekends and after hours
