About the role
- Supports the International Logistics team in planning and executing inbound container deliveries
- Ensures timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery into Bob’s Distribution Centers
- Partners closely with internal departments and external partners to drive operational efficiency
- Enhances visibility across the supply chain and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
- Plans and executes day-to-day international freight movements with vendors and partners
- Tracks and analyzes shipment data, maintains departmental KPIs, and generates reports
- Manages exceptions related to shipping lines, ports, and container freight stations
- Partners with Replenishment, Forecasting, and Merchandising teams for efficient container flow
- Supports annual Ocean Freight RFQ processes through data collection and rate analysis
- Contributes to initiatives that strengthen visibility and streamline global logistics operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years of logistics-related work experience in lieu of degree
- Prior experience in international or inbound logistics, transportation, or supply chain analysis
- Strong computer and data management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical literacy and analytical reasoning
- High attention to detail with effective follow-up and decision-making skills
- Adaptive communication and influencing abilities
- Self-starter with creative problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience in database management
