About the role
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using industry best practices and modern technologies.
- Consult with internal business groups to provide application software development services and technical support.
- Gather requirements and prepare BRD/SRD; analyze, define, and document data, workflow, and system interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business users, and project managers.
- Ensure application performance by coordinating coding, testing, implementation, and documentation across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop tests, test-automation suites, software verification plans, QA procedures, flowcharts, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and maintain existing systems and implement enhancements.
- Participate in architecture discussions and integrate new technologies to advance engineering capabilities.
- Complete required mandatory training and engage in active learning; contribute to area objectives and team goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Typically, 5-9 years of experience.
- Experience using Oracle HCM, Oracle OIC, or Visual Builder Cloud Service a plus.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL.
- Knowledge of both front-end and back-end web development.
- Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation.
- Ability to program well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Experience analyzing, designing, and developing tests and test-automation suites.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, upgrading existing systems, and maintaining software.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
