About the role

  • Analyze infrastructure problems to be solved with advanced design\n
  • Utilize standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results\n
  • Ensure that all systems/applications/software/hardware are compliant with corporate policy/procedures\n
  • Monitor project plans and budgets\n
  • Contribute to developing and monitoring the organization's technology architecture and future technology vision\n
  • Develop reports in conjunction with the Fellow Architect which demonstrate business opportunities and road map strategies that add business value\n
  • Draft proposals on infrastructure architecture needs for M&A activity and supports the creation of executive summaries\n
  • Consult and advise application development groups on solution architecture design\n
  • Monitor implementation\n
  • Recommend solutions based on business and industry best practices\n
  • Act as the lead for major incident resolution\n
  • Drive strategy to increase automation across the organization\n
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives\n
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field\n
  • Eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation\n
  • Eight (8) years of experience must include: Installing and configuring software packages on Linux VMs using Configuration Management tools including Puppet, Ansible and Terraform; Designing and implementing container runtime solutions using orchestration technologies including Nomad, Kubernetes, Mesos and Marathon; Designing, developing, testing, and deploying core microservices using various programming languages including Golang, Java and Python to manage compute capacity across all platforms; Performing scripting and automation using tools including PowerShell, Python, and Ansible for operational efficiency; Utilizing machine learning concepts and their application in predictive maintenance and infrastructure optimization, and virtualization technologies including VMWare and Hyper-V; and Understanding security best practices, vulnerability management, patching, and compliance with financial regulations including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ZTA, and NIST. In the alternative, the Employer will accept a Master’s degree and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation.
