About the role
- Provide system administration and development/maintenance support of Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) G2 applications
- Support System Administration for G2 Systems
- Perform root cause analysis to provide resolutions for production issues on CNIC applications
- Coach and mentor System Administrators on best methodologies to handle network, systems, and F5 troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Participate in strategic planning sessions led by Enterprise Architecture team for development of the application architecture and roadmap
- Support business owners and/or N6 to respond to taskers
- Development of Resource/ MRT Analysis and Dashboard
- Technology Strategy and Roadmap input
- Support for Cloud Migration G2 application migration path analysis
- Monitor SCOM Alerts and perform Daily Server Checks
- Support for G2 Platform Projects (Server Upgrades, Rollover Projects, SPO Migration)
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience
- Infrastructure Engineering
- System Administration
- Systems Engineering
- US Citizenship Required
- BS Degree or equivalent Computer Science or IT related degree
- DoD 8570 IAT II compliant - CompTIA Security+ CE
