About the role
- BNY is a global financial services company influencing a large portion of investible assets and harnessing AI and advanced technologies.
- Provide governance for the Production Services group in the region, inclusive of mentoring new members.
- Resolve issues related to critical applications, servers, networks, and telecommunications.
- Build and maintain standard procedures and documentation to troubleshoot and resolve events.
- Work with platform engineers to reduce mean time to resolution and enhance service delivery.
- Provide support and coverage for disaster recovery or business contingency events.
- Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and backups following established procedures and compliance regulations.
- Role location: Pittsburgh, PA (4-day in office); secondary location Lake Mary, FL.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial.
- 8-10 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- 12+ years of experience in technology support areas, including Network, Windows, Unix, and/or Mainframe performing hands-on IT Infrastructure & Application troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management; knowledge of payments ecosystem a plus.
- Proficiency in Automation Solutions, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk and Python automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of the Financial System and Trading platforms.
- Background and experience working in an enterprise environment with ITIL Service Management disciplines (Request, Incident, Problem and Change processes).
- Experience with Lockbox Operations and systems support a plus.
