About the role
- Support the team in preparing BMW AG monthly and quarterly financial statements related to inventory accounting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Assist in the review of complete vehicle valuations.
- Analyze system-related error patterns and perform preparatory tasks for the BMW AG closing process.
- Support the migration of the existing SAP system landscape in the finance area to the new SAP S/4HANA technology.
- Contribute to the analysis and optimization of existing processes and financial systems.
- Support the development and enhancement of BI dashboards (e.g., in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)).
- Gain insights into inventory management at BMW AG production sites and spare parts operations.
- Participate in operational intra-year planning activities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Economics, Business Informatics, ideally with a focus on Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- Structured and analytical way of thinking.
- Interest in finance-oriented systems and processes.
- Basic SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Fluent German and good command of English.
