About the role
- You will be responsible for the Functional Safety (FuSi) of E/E components in the e-drive
- Perform hazard analyses and risk assessments
- Develop functional and technical safety concepts
- Provide release recommendations for the respective project milestones
- Document safety-oriented development in a standardized safety case (safety evidence)
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology or a comparable technical qualification with a technical focus
- Competence in software safety, functional safety according to ISO 26262, product safety/safety-in-use and occupational health and safety
- Practical experience with software development processes or in the development of complex mechatronic systems is an advantage
- Good German and business-fluent English skills are required
- Familiarity with embedded software in the automotive environment
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10%)
- Class B (car) driver's license is desirable
