About the role

  • Engage in tasks such as repairing and rebuilding machinery.
  • Designing process improvements.
  • Assessing the need for future repairs to prevent issues from occurring.
  • Training in modern, state-of-the-art automotive production technology as well as the latest innovations in manufacturing techniques.
  • Gain practical engineering skills in various disciplines such as robotics, controls systems, machining, fluid power, electronics, welding, and more.
  • Rotate placements in different areas of automotive manufacturing and may also involve placements at other BMW UK sites.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at level 5/C (or above) including Maths and English.
  • A minimum of 3 A levels grade C or above both in a mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering related subject or a BTEC Level 3 in a relevant Engineering or Technology discipline.
  • Team working skills.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.

  • Ability to take on responsibility and show accountability for your work.
