About the role

  • Assist the Corporate Communications teams in various tasks and projects across a diverse range
  • Gain experience in events, social media, vehicle booking and press fleet administration
  • Liaise with journalists, plan, measure and evaluate campaigns
  • Support Corporate Communications in Farnborough and MINI Plant Oxford
  • Host media events to launch the company’s latest models
  • Support in creation of Brand PR campaigns and charity partnerships

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 6 (or above), including Maths and English
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent) at Grade B (or above) or equivalent BTEC Level 3 in a relevant discipline
  • Enthusiastic and well-disciplined
  • Excellent communication skills – whether in person, on the phone or written - are essential
  • Consistent and reliable attention to detail
  • Demonstrable interest towards a career in communications, marketing and/or PR
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required
