About the role

  • Complete training in college, as well as on site.
  • Learn from our team of experts on machine maintenance, mechanical and electrical robotic systems, online & offline robot programming, control planning, and paint & material science.
  • Work across both robot programming and maintenance during a site expansion.
  • Spend 2 days per week completing a 'craft skills' course including woodwork, sewing, mechanics, metal work and CAD.
  • Work towards qualifications including Health and Safety, Preparing to Learn, Reflective Practice, and Electrical Vehicle Awareness.

Requirements

  • English and Maths GCSE at grade 4 is required.
  • The ability to listen and absorb information is essential.
  • Must be self-driven who can flex to the demands of the business.
  • Programming.
  • An interest or joy of STEM subjects.
  • Building, creating or fixing things.
  • Python.
