About the role

  • You will support our team in shaping logistics projects within Supply Chain Management from early project phases through to series production start, including evaluation of suppliers and supplier relationships.
  • You will also contribute to the analysis and calculation of transportation costs between BMW and suppliers worldwide.
  • In addition, you will assist in developing supply concepts.
  • You will have the opportunity to visit suppliers on-site as part of supplier capability assessments.
  • You will also support our packaging planning colleagues as needed and assist in the planning, procurement, and optimization of specialized and universal containers.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering (ideally with a focus on Logistics), or a comparable field.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Structured and organized way of working.
  • Business-fluent German and English.
