About the role
- You will support our team in shaping logistics projects within Supply Chain Management from early project phases through to series production start, including evaluation of suppliers and supplier relationships.
- You will also contribute to the analysis and calculation of transportation costs between BMW and suppliers worldwide.
- In addition, you will assist in developing supply concepts.
- You will have the opportunity to visit suppliers on-site as part of supplier capability assessments.
- You will also support our packaging planning colleagues as needed and assist in the planning, procurement, and optimization of specialized and universal containers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering (ideally with a focus on Logistics), or a comparable field.
- Analytical mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Structured and organized way of working.
- Business-fluent German and English.
