About the role
- Generates new business opportunities with existing and new clients
- Participates in Bank and community activities to increase brand visibility
- Leads the development and delivery of customized lending proposals
- Coordinates and negotiates transactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Acts as the main point of client contact
- Consults with internal and external stakeholders to complete client requests
- Collaborates in financial analysis and risk assessment of customers
- Facilitates working sessions with clients and internal stakeholders
- Makes credit/lending decisions and recommendations
- Ensures ongoing monitoring and management of assigned portfolio of accounts
- Collaborates with deal team and other supporting resources
Requirements
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Credit qualifications and credit knowledge
- Demonstrated history of successful business development
- Experience in contract negotiations
- Experience with sales strategy and sales referral process development
