About the role

  • Generates new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Increases share of wallet through cross-selling of products
  • Participates and provides leadership in Bank and community activities
  • Leads the development and delivery of customized lending proposals
  • Coordinates and negotiates transactions with stakeholders
  • Acts as the main point of client/prospect contact
  • Consults regularly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborates with Portfolio Manager in financial analysis
  • Oversees development of financial models
  • Facilitates working sessions with clients
  • Collaborates with Associates for preparation of credit requests
  • Makes credit/lending decisions and recommendations
  • Ensures ongoing monitoring of assigned portfolio

Requirements

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Credit Qualifications and associated credit knowledge
  • Demonstrated history of successful business development
  • Experience in contract negotiations
  • Experience with Sales Strategy and Sales referral process development
  • In-depth knowledge in Risk Management, Sales and Service Management, Relationship Management, Change Leadership, Conflict Management & Resolution, Resource Planning, Business Acumen, Financial Understanding, Strategic Thinking
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert
