About the role

  • Support one or more Investment Advisors (IAs) and IA Team with day-to-day administration
  • Manage and grow client relationships through service delivery
  • Coordinate marketing activities on behalf of the advisory team
  • Assist the advisory team in preparing for client meetings
  • Handle clients’ day-to-day requests and inquiries
  • Generate reports and documents for IAs and clients
  • Maintain and organize client database and files
  • Ensure transactions and tasks are appropriately assigned and completed
  • Support team members on technology issues

Requirements

  • Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable
  • Knowledge of wealth management company and branch operations is an asset
  • Knowledge of traditional and non-traditional products is an asset
  • Familiarity with technology applications and software used in the financial planning and investment industry
  • Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook exam within 18 months from date of hire
  • Successful completion of 30-day BMO NB Investment Representative Licensing Program
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
