About the role
- Support one or more Investment Advisors (IAs) and IA Team with day-to-day administration
- Manage and grow client relationships through service delivery
- Coordinate marketing activities on behalf of the advisory team
- Assist the advisory team in preparing for client meetings
- Handle clients’ day-to-day requests and inquiries
- Generate reports and documents for IAs and clients
- Maintain and organize client database and files
- Ensure transactions and tasks are appropriately assigned and completed
- Support team members on technology issues
Requirements
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable
- Knowledge of wealth management company and branch operations is an asset
- Knowledge of traditional and non-traditional products is an asset
- Familiarity with technology applications and software used in the financial planning and investment industry
- Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook exam within 18 months from date of hire
- Successful completion of 30-day BMO NB Investment Representative Licensing Program
- Good verbal & written communication skills
