About the role
- - Own early-stage opportunity development by engaging target accounts and inbound leads.
- - Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through account research, identifying key decision-makers, and nurturing relationships into sales-ready opportunities.
- - Take a consultative, qualification-led approach to understand prospects’ businesses, goals, and challenges; run first-level qualification meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to Sales.
- - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product to qualify leads, drive pipeline, and execute outbound campaigns across key segments.
- - Maintain high CRM (HubSpot) standards to ensure seamless handoffs across teams.
- - Provide feedback to the go-to-market organisation to support continuous process and performance improvements.
Requirements
- - Strong interest in financial markets, technology, data, and institutional trading.
- - Proactive self-starter with high motivation, resilience, and a desire to learn and grow in a commercial role.
- - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to engage senior stakeholders, including cold outreach.
- - Strong organisational and time-management abilities, capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- - Some experience in customer-facing roles through internships, placements, or part-time work.
- - Quick to grasp complex concepts and translate them into clear, compelling client conversations.
- - Comfortable with standard business tools (e.g., Google Workspace, MS Office) and eager to learn CRM and sales platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
- - Collaborative team player who works effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
- - High standards, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
