Lead all aspects of credit bureau reporting, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across reporting cycles.
Define and maintain end-to-end reporting processes, including logic, validation, quality control, and audit readiness. Promote continuous improvement through standardized workflows and documentation.
Oversee the intake, investigation, and resolution of disputes and reporting defects. Establish scalable processes, SLAs, and cross-functional escalation paths to ensure timely corrections.
Serve as business lead for CBR-related systems and platform transitions. Partner with technology teams to ensure tools and data pipelines support accurate and compliant reporting.
Implement controls to validate reporting integrity and flag anomalies. Build dashboards and tools to monitor success rates, disputes, and exceptions.
Maintain expertise in FCRA, Metro2, and CDIA standards. Ensure reporting practices align with laws and bureau guidelines and proactively address risks.
Serve as the subject matter expert, partnering with compliance, legal, operations, product, analytics, and engineering teams to drive alignment and operational excellence.
Provide hands-on leadership to ensure the program operates in a steady, auditable state. Represent the function in audits, leadership updates, and bureau interactions.
Requirements
7+ years of credit bureau reporting experience with strong Metro2 knowledge
Expert-level knowledge of CBR regulatory requirements (FCRA, CDIA)
Experience remediating reporting issues and implementing durable solutions
Proven success designing and managing operational reporting processes in regulated environments
Strong data skills (Excel, SQL) and experience writing business requirements
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively.
