About the role
- Optimization of distribution logistics: analysis, planning and continuous improvement of logistics processes
- Management of local networks: coordination and optimization of regional logistics networks, close collaboration with suppliers and service providers
- Identification of supply chain opportunities: analysis of existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Support for national and international expansion: development and implementation of logistics processes for new markets
- Improvement of store deliveries: ensuring timely and quality-compliant deliveries to stores
- Standardization and digitization: driving the digitalization and standardization of logistics processes
- Project management: taking on project management for logistics projects from planning through implementation
- Innovation: contributing new ideas and implementing improvements together with the team
Requirements
- A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in transport and store logistics, ideally in a company with complex supply chains
- Solid knowledge in optimizing logistics processes and managing supply chains – including international operations
- Experience in project management, especially with expansion projects and setting up new logistics sites
- Knowledge of digitalizing logistics processes and experience with logistics software such as TMS, WMS, or ERP systems
- Analytical thinking and the ability to develop solutions for process optimization and cost reduction
- Organizing best-practice exchanges and benchmarking between internal and external warehouse locations
- Clear communication and teamwork with internal departments and external partners
- Willingness to travel for business
- Excellent German and English skills
