About the role
- Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to build and assess data, and maintaining vigilance in analysis to ensure the insights and conclusions obtained are correct
- Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance
- Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts
- Provide intensive research, data mining and data mapping
- Present findings clearly and accessibly in the form of reports and spoken communications with various audiences
- Trouble-shoot and correcting data load exceptions or inaccuracies
- Provide financial analysis as needed to various business stakeholders
- Produce accurate and timely reports
- Contribute to process improvement efforts
- Generates reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts
- Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
- Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources
- May create specifications for reports based on business requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint
- Power BI (preferred), but not required
- Pivot Tables
- Lookup functions
- Graphing
- Strong analytic skills
- Experience working with and analyzing financial statements
- Profit & Loss
- Cash Flow
- Balance Sheet
- Forecasting & Budgeting experience
- 13 Wk cashflow forecasting (preferred)
- Experience in Healthcare (preferred)
- 3 years minimum of related experience
