About the role

  • - Own the full product lifecycle from concept → development → launch → post-market optimization
  • - Define ingredient strategy, dosing, and differentiation in partnership with R&D
  • - Drive cross-functional execution across R&D, Quality, Ops, Regulatory, and Marketing
  • - Partner with Ops on co-manufacturer selection, scale-up, pilot runs, and commercialization
  • - Manage suppliers and manufacturing partners; assess feasibility, timelines, and risks
  • - Ensure scientific rigor across formulation, claims, and product positioning

Requirements

  • **Basic Qualifications:**
  • - 6+ years in product development (supplements, functional foods, or adjacent categories)
  • - Proven track record of taking products from concept to commercial launch
  • - Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and supply chain systems
  • - Strong understanding of formulation, ingredient sourcing, and manufacturing constraints
  • - Strong experience with regulatory frameworks (FDA, Prop 65, international compliance)
  • ****Preferred Skills:**
  • - Experience scaling multiple SKUs in a high-growth environment
  • - Familiarity with SFP/NFP development and labeling tools
  • - Experience working with COAs, spec sheets, and quality systems
  • - Background in evidence-based formulation and claims substantiation
  • - Experience building or improving product development systems/processes
