About the role

  • Design and develop high-quality applications for Bluelight clients using Laravel and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Work on a variety of client projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and industry professionals.
  • Contribute to architectural and implementation decisions for web applications.
  • Write and maintain tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate frontend (React, Vue.js, Livewire) with Laravel backends.
  • Communicate with clients and align deliverables to client goals and commitments.
  • Participate in continuous learning, training, and knowledge sharing within the consultancy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically with Laravel 8 and above.
  • Experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
  • Experience with Inertia.js and building RESTful APIs in Laravel.
  • Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc.).
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS is a bonus.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with Bluelight's clients' goals and deliver on commitments.
  • Positive mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
