About the role
- Build, maintain, and deliver Laravel back-end applications and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and integrate frontend interfaces using React, Vue.js, or Laravel Livewire.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients on a variety of projects.
- Contribute to estimates, technical design, and deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
- Work remotely with distributed teams and participate in client-facing consultancy tasks.
- Continuously learn, attend training and conferences, and improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically with Laravel 8 and above.
- Experience with: Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder.
- Experience with testing tools, such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
- Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful API in Laravel.
- Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc).
- Experience with Tailwind CSS is a bonus.
- Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
- Ability to identify with Bluelight's clients' goals and deliver on commitments.
