About the role

  • Define and champion a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap that aligns with company strategy, market opportunity, and customer needs — and rally the organization around it.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product team, establishing best practices, processes, and a culture of customer obsession and rigorous execution.
  • Own and drive end-to-end product strategy across the full portfolio, ensuring each initiative has a clear vision, measurable outcomes, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to company strategy, fundraising narratives, board communications, and organizational decisions.
  • Spot macro trends, evaluate competitive landscapes, and translate insights into differentiated product strategies that position Bluefish as a market leader.
  • Apply rigor to deeply understand customer needs and pain points at scale. Identify and prioritize features and bets that deliver maximum value and create sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Drive seamless collaboration and alignment across leadership, engineering, design, sales, and customer success — ensuring the product organization is a force multiplier for the entire company.
  • Define and monitor product success metrics, evaluate ROI, and create accountability frameworks that connect product outcomes to business results.
  • Represent the product externally — with key customers, partners, analysts, and the press — as a credible and inspiring spokesperson for Bluefish's vision.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a VP or senior product leadership role, with a mix of startup and enterprise environments preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing product teams, including hiring, developing, and retaining top product talent.
  • Proven 0-to-1 product experience, including defining a product from scratch, navigating ambiguity, and driving successful first launches.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling SaaS products, with experience in AI-driven or marketing technology platforms strongly preferred.
  • Executive presence and communication skills — ability to influence the board, inspire the company, align cross-functional leaders, and build confidence with customers and partners.
  • Strong technical acumen — comfortable working closely with engineers, understanding system architecture, and making sound build/buy/partner decisions.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions, interpret complex data, and translate ambiguity into clear strategic direction.
  • Deep experience with customer discovery and customer-facing product leadership, including managing roadmap expectations across enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Startup-ready mentality — energized by building from scratch, thriving in ambiguity, and operating with a bias toward action in a fast-moving environment.
  • Deep empathy for users and a relentless focus on delivering customer value that translates into measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to zoom in and out: set high-level strategy while also shaping the details of execution when needed.
  • High energy, self-starter attitude with a track record of driving outcomes in lean, high-growth organizations.
Benefits
  • Full medical, dental and vision benefits.
  • PTO and remote work flexibility.
