About the role

  • Posses expertise in utilizing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform to provision Azure cloud based resources
  • Apply best practices for unit, integration and end to end testing of custom software solutions developed internally
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of issues spanning Azure Cloud, Kubernetes Platform, 3rd Party Tools, and internally developed software solutions
  • Develop and optimize DevOps processes and tools, leveraging Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD to streamline deployment workflows
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure fast, reliable, and automated software releases
  • Collaborate on creating Kubernetes operators using Java and Quarkus to automate application management and reduce operational overhead
  • Assist in the design and implementation of Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) to enhance the functionality of Kubernetes deployments
  • Work across teams to advocate for best practices in DevOps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and paving a frictionless path for software delivery
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enrich the organization's technical capabilities and deliver improved results
  • Own the operational posture of our high scale modern continuous delivery framework, ensuring SLA’s are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, particularly focused on DevOps
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD for managing and automating deployment pipelines
  • Proven skills in building and managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
  • Experience in developing Kubernetes operators using Java, Quarkus, and the Java Operator SDK
  • Competence in designing and implementing Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) within Kubernetes environments
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional team engagement and strategic alignment in DevOps practices
  • Passionate about technology evolution and driving continuous improvement in software delivery processes.
