About the role
- Serve as the Company HSE representative, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal HSE policies
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems and programs across all functions
- Conduct internal HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and incident reporting
- Collaborate with all levels/function of the business to identify risks, implement preventive measures
- Manage PPE inventory and ensure external compliance systems remain current
- Lead the development, implementation, auditing and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Assist with the development of audit plans and follow-up on QMS audit activities
- Develop and implement improvements in all facets of documentation
- Prepare reports and updates as required
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry related HSE or QMS experience
- Certified COR/ISO 45001 Internal Auditor is an asset
- Quality minded and service-oriented team player
- Proven organizational skills including time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively independently
- Willingness to learn in a diverse organizational environment
- Capacity to work cooperatively and effectively with others
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with all MS Office applications
