About the role

  • Senior Network Engineer to join Blue Mantis to support customers.
  • Manage and optimize network technologies: Cisco/Nexus, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, Cisco SANs.
  • Ensure network reliability, security, and performance; contribute to documentation and process improvement.
  • On-Call rotation and collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.
  • On-Call: participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 network support when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in network engineering roles, focusing on enterprise-scale environments.
  • Proven track record in incident management, RCA, and delivering network solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with firmware updates, patch management, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP or higher; PCNSE; CCSE; F5 Certified Administrator or similar.
  • Switching and Routing: Cisco and Nexus switches, VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, and Layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Firewalls: Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls; policy configuration, troubleshooting, high availability, and optimization.
  • Wireless and Cloud Networking: Meraki networks and cloud-based management.
  • Load Balancing: F5 load balancers, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring and Automation: SolarWinds, scripting with Python/Ansible or similar.
