About the role
- Establish, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide DCRM program in compliance with NRC, ASME NQA-1, and NIRMA requirements.
- Define and enforce document governance, including document lifecycles, retention schedules, security classifications, and audit readiness.
- Maintain an auditable register of controlled documents, approvals, revisions, and change history.
- Lead the selection, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) across projects and functions.
- Configure and maintain EDMS platforms (e.g., SharePoint or equivalent) to support metadata tagging, version control, approvals, access controls, and efficient retrieval.
- Standardize templates, naming conventions, document numbering, and change-tracking across the company.
- Develop and maintain procedures for document creation, review, approval, release, distribution, and archiving.
- Manage document transmittals and workflows, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee document review and approval processes, including formatting, editing, and electronic signature tracking.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into document status, review progress, and outstanding actions.
- Conduct regular quality checks and system assessments to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee storage, maintenance, and archiving of both electronic and hard-copy records.
- Develop and deliver EDMS and document control training for project teams and functional stakeholders.
- Partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, and project teams to support document creation, revisions, and releases throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Document Control and Records Management, including leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience building or establishing a DCRM program in a complex, highly regulated environment.
- Direct experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, construction, or energy projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to bring structure to fast-moving environments.
- Proven ability to train users on EDMS tools and document control processes.
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
