Engineer

• Support VP of Regulatory Affairs and the Director of Environment & Permitting in developing and executing Blue Energy’s licensing/permitting strategy for nuclear power plant deployment.
• Perform and lead licensing/permitting work (e.g., topical report development and RAI responses) collaboratively with Blue Energy licensing staff and contractors.
• Prepare, submit, and track regulatory filings, including Blue Energy’s Construction Permit Application (CPA), and supporting documents needed to support the NRC licensing process.
• Develop topical reports, white papers, Environmental Reports (ERs), and other federal/state/local permit applications, as needed.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between regulatory requirements and engineering designs, site selection, and plant construction timelines.
• Interface with the NRC and other federal/state/local regulatory bodies to address regulatory questions, provide data, and manage requests for additional information (RAIs).
• Participate in regulatory meetings, audits, and inspections, representing Blue Energy’s interests to ensure smooth and timely licensing.
• Stay current with evolving regulatory standards and frameworks, including NRC regulations (e.g., 10 CFR 51), NUREGs, and relevant international guidelines, to anticipate their impact on Blue Energy’s projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to develop and review documentation supporting regulatory submissions and design certification applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, policymakers, and external stakeholders to advocate for policy changes that enable more efficient nuclear power deployment.

Senior Licensing Engineer – Environmental

Manager

• Establish, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide DCRM program in compliance with NRC, ASME NQA-1, and NIRMA requirements.
• Define and enforce document governance, including document lifecycles, retention schedules, security classifications, and audit readiness.
• Maintain an auditable register of controlled documents, approvals, revisions, and change history.
• Lead the selection, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) across projects and functions.
• Configure and maintain EDMS platforms (e.g., SharePoint or equivalent) to support metadata tagging, version control, approvals, access controls, and efficient retrieval.
• Standardize templates, naming conventions, document numbering, and change-tracking across the company.
• Develop and maintain procedures for document creation, review, approval, release, distribution, and archiving.
• Manage document transmittals and workflows, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee document review and approval processes, including formatting, editing, and electronic signature tracking.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into document status, review progress, and outstanding actions.
• Conduct regular quality checks and system assessments to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.

Civil Engineer

• Provide technical leadership and owner’s oversight for civil and structural engineering.
• Review and approve civil and structural deliverables from EPC and design partners.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear requirements, including seismic category design.
• Support preparation of licensing documentation.
• Participate in regulator meetings, audits, and technical discussions as the civil SME.
• Support site preparation, excavation, foundations, and construction sequencing.
• Resolve field engineering issues, non-conformances, and design–construction interface challenges.

Owner, Civil Engineer

Systems Engineer

• Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Lead Systems Engineer will be the technical authority for systems engineering within Blue Energy’s engineering department.
• Driving the architecture and integration of complex, multi-domain systems for the world’s first gas-to-nuclear conversion projects.
• Ensure that stakeholder expectations are translated into actionable requirements.
• Align system-level decisions with Blue Energy’s mission to deliver cost-effective, schedule-certain, and safe nuclear power solutions.
• Ensure that Blue Energy has a highly-adept Systems Engineering framework, processes, procedures, and practices which are used effectively to develop quality designs.

Lead Systems Engineer

Technical Recruiter

• Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of technical and non-technical roles, from intake through offer acceptance
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and interview plans
• Proactively source and engage high-caliber candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels
• Drive an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and efficient process management
• Collaborate with the Lead Technical Recruiter to prioritize roles, manage pipelines, and meet aggressive hiring timelines
• Maintain accurate data and reporting within the ATS, ensuring process consistency and compliance.

Senior Technical Recruiter

• Own sourcing and recruiting execution for assigned entry and mid-level roles
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and referrals
• Conduct initial candidate screens and manage early-stage interview processes
• Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and candidate communications
• Maintain accurate candidate data and pipeline status in Blue Energy’s ATS
• Partner with the Lead Recruiter to align on role calibration and candidate quality
• Contribute to an excellent, professional candidate experience

Procurement

• Lead daily purchasing execution for materials, services, and subcontracts: convert requisitions to POs, manage acknowledgements, expediting, change requests, and closeout.
• Run competitive RFQs for engineered materials and services; perform bid tabulations and total-cost evaluations; recommend awards aligned to schedule and technical requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Site teams to translate drawings/specifications into clear purchase requirements and delivery plans.
• Drive invoice and payment readiness: ensure receiving documentation, resolve three-way match issues, and coordinate with Finance/AP to reduce cycle time.
• Own procurement system administration and continuous improvement for ERP / procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Aconex).
• Establish and maintain master data governance (supplier master, commodity codes, item masters, catalogues, pricing files, lead times, and approved supplier lists).
• Build reporting and dashboards for spend, backlog, supplier performance, and risk; improve data quality and discipline in the purchasing workflow.
• Create standard work: SOPs, templates, approval matrices, delegated authority, and audit-ready documentation controls.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and qualification (including NDAs, onboarding packets, W-9 / tax forms, insurance, banking, cybersecurity, and ethics/compliance).
• Translate nuclear QA/regulatory requirements into supplier-facing obligations and documentation requirements; coordinate audits and corrective actions with QA/Regulatory.
• Negotiate purchase order terms and commercial alignment (payment terms, LDs, warranties, limitations of liability, termination, and change provisions) with Legal support.
• Support framework agreements and repeat-buy structures for key suppliers (blanket POs, rate cards, MSAs, and long-lead reservations).

Director of Procurement

Supply Chain

• Define contracting strategies by package (EPC/EPCM/EPCCM, OEM supply, fabrication, construction, installation, logistics, services).
• Select pricing and risk models (lump sum, unit rates, T&M, target cost, cost-plus) and align them to scope maturity and delivery risk.
• Build and maintain contract templates, commercial terms, flow-down requirements, and approval workflows.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events (market scan, vendor qualification, RFP/RFQ, clarifications, commercial evaluation, award recommendation).
• Negotiate and execute high-value agreements, including long-term framework agreements and master service agreements.
• Partner with Engineering and Project teams to drive value engineering, standardization, and cost-down opportunities.
• Own contract administration, including notices, correspondence, change orders, payment provisions, deliverables tracking, and closeout.
• Establish disciplined change management and claims-avoidance practices; support fact-finding and resolution of disputes when needed.
• Run supplier business reviews and performance management (quality, schedule, cost, safety, responsiveness).
• Translate nuclear QA/regulatory requirements into supplier-facing requirements, audit criteria, and contract language.
• Coordinate supplier qualification, audits, and corrective-action follow-up with Blue Energy QA and Regulatory teams.
• Right-size QA rigor by commodity and safety significance to expand the supply base while maintaining compliance.

Director of Contracts – Supply Chain

• Support the planning, cost control, progress control, change management / scope development, cash flow and support for the scheduling functions for gas turbine and combined cycle power plant projects.
• Develop and maintain cost control systems and produce regular cost reports.
• Monitor trends and provide early warnings on potential budget overruns.
• Develop budgets and schedules with associated time, cost, and manpower elements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports covering schedule, cost, and performance metrics and clearly identify variance.
• Integrate the schedule and activities with the cost and progress base.
• Assist Project Manager and Construction Manager as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement group to obtain and track supplier and contractor invoicing and payment information as needed.

Project Controls Engineer

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Design and enhance internal reporting frameworks to provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial and operational metrics to leadership.
• Lead the finance workstream of the ERP system rollout, ensuring alignment with business needs and seamless integration with existing tools and processes.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly leadership report and quarterly board decks, including financial performance, KPIs, and strategic analysis.
• Collaborate with department heads to support strategic initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial accountability.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify trends and key drivers of financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability. Automate budgeting by incorporating latest AI technologies.
