About the role

  • Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow analyses
  • Support audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis on variances and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement internal control policies, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations and fiscal compliance

Requirements

  • 3+ year of experience fluent in English and Portuguese
  • Demonstrated experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in an international environment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to expedite their implementation from a financial perspective (preferably Odoo but not mandatory)
  • Effective communications skills to collaborate with senior team members and present financial insights
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to address challenges and optimize financial operations
  • Understanding of international tax regulations, IFRS and local GAAP
