Backend Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain the systems that power our products end-to-end.
• Architect, build, and ship backend systems that can scale to millions of requests/day.
• Design, implement, and optimize APIs that power our research and media products.
• Build pipelines to parse and model blockchain transactions and financial data.
• Own database design, optimization, and reliability (MySQL/Postgres).
• Implement caching and performance strategies with Redis or similar tools.
• Lead backend feature development from planning to production release.
• Diagnose and resolve scalability, performance, and reliability issues under real-world load.
• Raise the bar on testing, monitoring, and observability across the stack.

Senior Backend Engineer

Operations

• You'll be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and operational support, collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to manage deal desk operations, supporting contract processes, and updating sales collateral (e.g., pitch decks, sheets, etc.).
• You'll partner with members of the Sales and Customer Success teams to maintain and update internal systems with accurate account information, contracts, and campaign details, as well as manage account-related documentation, including contracts and billing information across platforms such as Hubspot, Baremetrics, and Stripe.
• You’ll partner with Sales Leadership to proactively review and report on Sales and Customer Success KPIs and analytics (e.g., lead conversion, sales cycle length, upsell/cross-sell, average deal size, churn/renewal rates for subscription/SaaS offerings/other business lines).
• You’ll partner across the Sales team to ensure internal systems (CRM, billing platforms, contract repositories like HubSpot, Baremetrics, Stripe) are accurate, consistent, and proactively updated.
• You’ll ensure GTM systems (CRM, enablement tools, dashboards) are properly configured, well-used, and scalable, including from pipeline management, forecasting cadence, to CRM hygiene.
• You'll facilitate cross-functional deal reviews, escalation processes, backlog clearing, and pipeline quality reviews.

Sales Operations Associate

• You’ll support the podcast team, as well as the broader organization, with scheduling, coordination, communication, and operational execution that keeps our shows and teams moving quickly and effectively.
• You’ll own internal and external scheduling for podcast recordings, managing availability, time zones, and guest logistics.
• You’ll maintain accurate production timelines, coordinate recording schedules, track deadlines, and keep the broader podcast calendar organized so episodes move through the workflow smoothly and on time.
• You’ll send timely, polished communication to podcast guests, partners, sponsors, and internal stakeholders across email, Slack, Telegram, and social platforms.
• You’ll work closely with sales, customer success, design, and operations to ensure information and deliverables flow smoothly between the podcast team and other business functions.
• You’ll help coordinate and execute in-person episode recordings at our headquarters in New York City.
• You’ll support sponsor communication, track deliverables, and ensure all episode requirements and commitments are executed accurately and on schedule.
• You’ll pull performance data, maintain dashboards and trackers, and organize reporting systems the team relies on.
• You’ll serve as our office manager, keeping the NYC office organized, well-stocked and clean.
• You’ll maintain accounts, access, and documentation for platforms like Megaphone, YouTube, Descript, Airtable, and social media tools used by the podcast team.
