💰 $105,000 - $155,000 per year

About the role

  • Implement and enhance portfolio management and analytics tools, primarily in Python, to support liquidity management, risk monitoring, and investment decision-making
  • Develop, deploy, maintain, and monitor portfolio engineering algorithms and workflow automation solutions
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational processes using data analytics and scalable technology solutions
  • Partner with portfolio managers to translate investment processes into systematic, production-ready tools
  • Integrate portfolio architect solutions into BlackRock’s technology ecosystem, including Aladdin
  • Collaborate with BlackRock technology teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and implemented effectively
  • Support reporting, analytics, and monitoring frameworks used in daily portfolio oversight
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory considerations impacting cash portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or other quantitative fields
  • 3+ years of experience in investment management, trading, or finance-related fields preferred
  • Foundational understanding of money markets, fixed income instruments, or liquidity products is a plus
  • Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), and/or Java with solid object-oriented programming experience
  • Knowledge of the Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Streamlit, etc.) and experience working with large datasets and statistical processing
  • Experience with project management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), including version control, and testing frameworks
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau & Power BI) and Snowflake
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across investment, risk, and technology teams
  • High degree of professional integrity, discretion, and judgment
  • Ability to organize and operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness and capability to adopt, learn and effectively utilize AI tools enhance productivity and decision-making.
