Account Manager

• Managing existing and new customer relationships to meet and/or exceed company sales revenue and profit objectives

Customer Support

• Respond appropriately and in a timely manner to all customer and Account Manager incoming communications.
• Analyze and assess customer needs completely and accurately with efficiency.
• Work with suppliers and Account Managers to identify, source, and price appropriate product solutions and provide quotes for product solutions per OS ticket and other BHID response time guidelines.
• Process customer orders, Return Material Authorizations and Guaranteed Test Orders and purchase material’s to fill customer orders.
• Review and maintain P21 portals daily for potential late orders, Return Material Authorizations, items not on a PO and unapproved orders.
• Identify and resolve root cause issues by working and communicating with responsible cross functional teams to minimize repetition of the original issue.
• Develop a detailed working knowledge of BlackHawk policies, procedures and practices.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the BHID systems (including P21, OS ticket, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Compass), suppliers’ systems/websites and usage of those systems.
• Perform all work in accordance with the company documented ISO processes and procedures utilizing appropriate company systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Customer Service Representative

Business Development Rep

• Meet or exceed sales targets
• Maintain robust sales pipeline and recorded in the CRM to assure sales goals are attained
• Prospect and close new industrial customers through in-person visits, cold calls, referrals, and structured territory planning, using BlackHawk’s value proposition.
• Build prospect confidence in BlackHawk portfolio of products at all levels of leadership within Core customer or prospect.
• Identify customer needs quickly related to productivity, safety, cost reduction, and supply chain efficiency
• Persuasively present BlackHawk Industrial’s full portfolio of products and value-added solutions, including MRO, manufacturing, tooling, fasteners, safety, load containment, inventory management, and onsite services
• Partner with suppliers and manufacturer representatives to identify prospects, coordinate joint calls, and expand market share
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and local networking functions to increase market awareness and strengthen BlackHawk Industrial’s presence
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Inside Sales to ensure effective handoff and coordinated account coverage
• Support customer onboarding and transition, by working with pricing, inside sales, and operations teams
• Maintain accurate CRM records; activity, opportunity, and territory data
• Professionally represent BlackHawk Industrial at customer facilities and industry events

Business Development Representative

• Leads the branches customer service function while developing and executing tactics consistent with initiatives policies, procedures and resources to achieve branch goals and the company’s mission and plan.
• Responsible for promoting culture of safety.
• Maintain a consistent level of CSR team performance by hiring, training, monitoring, and developing a high-quality team of CSRs.
• Align the efforts of the CSR team with the branch business plan to achieve results.
• Function as the senior subject matter expert on the systems and procedures used to process and manage the company’s sales and inventory related transactions.
• Utilize transactional reporting available through BlackHawk systems to monitor the activities and outputs of the CSR team.
• Facilitate, oversee and execute actions in conjunction with CSRs, account managers and members of cross functional departments to enable successful transaction processing, problem solving, corrective actions, and project work.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of how P21 and our vending systems act together and in parallel to facilitate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Approve pricing variances as needed and within the guidelines set by the General Manager.
• Partner with sales team to grow and exceed sales and gross profit objectives for fiscal year.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels to ensure effectiveness of the branch plan.
• Perform all work in accordance to ISO processes and procedures.

Customer Service Manager

Product Specialist

• Sales Engagement – work closely with the sales team in your coverage area to determine appropriate sales strategy and execute in close collaboration throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide technical support as second level support.
• Develop, execute and manage a strategy to increase sales and profitability of your coverage area and across the product line.
• This includes product selection from our core offering, product cost improvement, customer total cost savings, and driving field engagement to drive results.
• Responsible for improving margin rate in the category for your coverage area.
• Optimize product cost position through special price agreements, rebates, etc. to develop the best outcome for both the customer and local BlackHawk branch.
• Communicate changes to price team and enforce price increase/decrease strategies to grow and protect margins.
• Develop and present training modules and sessions with preferred suppliers to facilitate increased knowledge and expertise for both BlackHawk sales organization and customers.
• Manage multiple projects and resources to meet customer & BlackHawk Industrial growth and profitability.

Product Specialist – Fasteners

Analyst

• Administer all company-sponsored benefits programs, including US self-funded medical and STD, fully insured LTD, Life, Vision, Dental, and international benefits plans for the UK, Mexico, and the Philippines
• Lead and coordinate annual open enrollment activities, including communicating plan changes, and conducting informational sessions
• Administer FMLA, working with employees and carrier to ensure compliance and a smooth flow with STD/LTD
• Administer 401(k) working with employees, broker and carrier to ensure plan compliance, enrollment and trends
• Serve as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for employee and manager benefits inquiries and provide timely and high-quality customer service.
• Train and support Human Resource staff
• Act as a liaison between employees and service providers to ensure issue resolution and a seamless benefits experience
• Maintain employee feeds and information in HRIS system and carrier sites, auditing on a quarterly basis to ensure accurate enrollment
• Analyze and evaluate current benefits, conduct market research to compare benefits packages, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify risk/errors and work with Human Resource Director and Broker to rectify
• Spearhead wellness initiatives and create and distribute materials, such as benefit guides, newsletters, and digital resources, develop strategies, events and communications to support and maintain employee engagement
• Prepare 5500 annually, serve as the contact for 401(k) audits, annual health plan regulatory filings as required by country
• Participate in ADA interactive process and determination, working with senior HR, employees and managers
