Therapist

• Under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Occupational Therapist efficiently and accurately provides evidence-based evaluations and treatment sessions focused on supporting emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and participation in daily activities.
• Collaborate with other specialty providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and maintain a clinical schedule that includes evaluation times.

Occupational Therapist – Contract

• Deliver High-Quality Therapy: Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling and individualized treatment. Conduct biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments for new clients.
• Build Meaningful Therapeutic Relationships: Spend the necessary time with patients and families to truly understand their experiences, educate them about therapeutic approaches, and provide ongoing support. Establish positive, trusting rapport that keeps patients engaged in their care journey.
• Drive Patient Progress: Monitor patient progress against care goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes. Conduct ongoing assessments and ensure patients are making meaningful progress in their therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate for Integrated Care: Work closely with other specialty providers (PMHNPs, OT, SLP) to establish Integrated Treatment Plans that address the whole child. Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate.
• Maintain Clinical Excellence: Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress. Strive for the highest clinical and technical quality in all aspects of your work. Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding and acclimation to the role.

Full-stack Engineer

• Define and execute the architectural roadmap for our web and mobile platforms, transitioning to a scalable, service-oriented architecture.
• Architect the application layer that integrates our foundational services like the EHR that houses our clinical workflows with our novel services, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
• Adopt a move fast delivery cadence to break down complex initiatives into shippable, high-value milestones.
• Manage and mentor 2-3 cross-functional squads, implementing career frameworks that foster growth and retention.
• Own the live site health by establishing SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices, incident response protocols, and comprehensive observability standards.
• Build a diverse and inclusive engineering culture that attracts top talent and balances autonomy with alignment.
• Enforce rigorous CI/CD pipelines and automated testing standards to ensure safe and frequent deployments.

Director of Product Engineering

• Lead the development of complex features (e.g., a new intake workflow or provider dashboard) from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with the Product & Engineering leadership to define requirements, user flows, and success metrics. You are the Product Manager for your scope.
• Design scalable, maintainable full-stack solutions (React, Node.js, Python) that integrate seamlessly with our EHR and AI services.
• Manage the timeline and delivery of your projects, coordinating across design, clinical ops, and other engineering squads.
• Watch clinicians use your software, look at the data, and iterate rapidly. You are responsible for the success of the feature, not just the code.
• Elevate the team's product sense, teaching junior engineers how to think about user value and business impact.

Product Engineer

Operations

• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits for new and existing patients.
• Call insurance companies to confirm coverage and resolve issues related to pre-authorizations, referrals, and claims.
• Serve as a point of contact for patient questions about insurance coverage, copays, and billing.
• Manage and track pre-authorizations for clinical services to ensure timely approval and updates.
• Support patients and other Blackbird departments to help ensure continuity of care.
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing patient concerns.

Insurance Operations Specialist

• Deliver High-Quality Therapy: Lead individual in person and telehealth therapy sessions for youth ages 2-26, using evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's developmental stage and unique needs.
• Build Meaningful Therapeutic Relationships: Spend the necessary time with patients and families to truly understand their experiences, educate them about therapeutic approaches, and provide ongoing support. Build connection and trust that keeps patients engaged in their care journey.
• Drive Patient Progress: Monitor patient progress against care goals, adjusting treatment approaches as needed to ensure positive outcomes. Ensure patients are making meaningful progress in their therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate for Integrated Care: Engage with other healthcare professionals and families to create coordinated treatment plans that address the whole child. Participate in optional weekly clinical consultations to enhance your clinical skills and receive feedback and support.
• Maintain Clinical Excellence: Maintain thorough patient records and documentation. Strive for the highest clinical and technical quality in all aspects of your work.

• Conduct Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations: Lead neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations including autism spectrum assessments (ADOS 2, ASRS, CARS), analyze and interpret data, and write detailed evaluation reports that provide families with clear understanding and actionable recommendations. Training provided for interested candidates.
• Provide Compassionate Feedback: Deliver diagnostic feedback to clients and caregivers after evaluations, ensuring they understand findings and feel supported in next steps.
• Collaborate for Integrated Care: Communicate with team members during the evaluation process as needed. Participate in weekly department and team meetings, sharing client needs with the treatment team and providing feedback and consultation to treatment members.
• Support Access to Services: Provide written requests for outside services (such as applied behavior analysis or medical assistance) as needed. Communicate findings of evaluations to all team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain Clinical Excellence: Complete documentation for evaluations within 24 hours of services. Maintain thorough records and strive for the highest clinical and technical quality in all aspects of your work.
• Manage Your Practice: Manage your schedule including scheduling assessments, feedback appointments, maintaining report writing time, and rescheduling any cancellations or make-up appointments. Report weekly productivity.
