About the role
- Help address some of the world's pressing infrastructure challenges
- Work on a wide range of projects to meet clients' needs
- Contribute to the growth and success of Black & Veatch
- Assigned to a functional area in Data Centers
- Rotate through 3–4 roles across different business areas
- Gain a full view of the project lifecycle
- Participate in quarterly development sessions focused on leadership and innovation
- Develop familiarity by reading, applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, and engineering codes
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must have less than 2 years of professional engineering or construction experience
- Coursework and knowledge of Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations
- Basic knowledge of engineering design principles, design guides and standards
- Skilled in Problem Solving, Written Communication, Informing, and Peer Relationships
- All applicants must have work authorization and will not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa
