About the role

  • Help address some of the world's pressing infrastructure challenges
  • Work on a wide range of projects to meet clients' needs
  • Contribute to the growth and success of Black & Veatch
  • Assigned to a functional area in Data Centers
  • Rotate through 3–4 roles across different business areas
  • Gain a full view of the project lifecycle
  • Participate in quarterly development sessions focused on leadership and innovation
  • Develop familiarity by reading, applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, and engineering codes

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must have less than 2 years of professional engineering or construction experience
  • Coursework and knowledge of Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations
  • Basic knowledge of engineering design principles, design guides and standards
  • Skilled in Problem Solving, Written Communication, Informing, and Peer Relationships
  • All applicants must have work authorization and will not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa
