About the role
- Responsible for coordination of the construction on the substation project
- Coordinates compliance with the schedule, safety, cost, and quality decisions
- Develops and maintains Construction procedures and quality programs
- Supports project proposals including staffing and equipment development
- Leads and participates in design constructability reviews
- Assists site team in resolving problems related to drawings, schedule, and quality
- Monitors discipline construction productivity and reports to Operations Manager
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Construction Manager level or above
- 8+ years of Substation experience with a degree or 14+ years without a degree
- Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering preferred
- Direct hire Substation construction experience preferred
- Experience with Outage Plans within construction
- Knowledge of project budget processes and tools
- Knowledge of department budget processes and tools
- Risk assessment/management skills
- Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking is preferred
- OSHA Training
