About the role

  • Build and grow client relationships in Mining, Metals, Fertilizers, and Chemicals as primary focus
  • Identify opportunities, win work, and lead the execution of the projects
  • Act as Project Director, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability
  • Mentor Project Managers and collaborate with Client Account Managers
  • Drive strategic growth aligned with Black & Veatch’s Strategy
  • Manage bottom-line results across a portfolio of projects leveraging Black & Veatch’s multidisciplinary solutions
  • Own day-to-day successful execution across performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Develop project staffing plans, resource assignments, and execution methodologies; ensure compliance with standards and procedures
  • Negotiate, assess, and mitigate contractual risk across projects and subcontractors
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring quality and client expectations are met.

Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience, Mining project exposure
  • Proven success in services and EPC delivery
  • Demonstrated experience with services work, EPC/EPCM projects, and complex risk profiles
  • Deep knowledge of the mining and natural resources market
  • Existing client relationships in the segment
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
