About the role
- Independently perform electrical engineering assignments of medium to high complexity
- Design and develop Mission Critical electrical systems
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and studies
- Support resolution of RFIs, submittals, and field issues
- Assist project leadership with technical scope definition and execution planning
- Manage assigned electrical engineering scope to meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and informal mentoring to Associate Engineers and interns
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) / Engineering-in-Training Certification (preferred)
- U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) License, or actively in progress of licensure (preferred)
- Experience with mission critical facilities, power reliability, or Federal/DoD infrastructure (preferred)
- Working knowledge of specifications development, RFIs, and submittals
- Experience with engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and electrical analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM)
