About the role
- Independently perform and lead electrical engineering work of medium to high complexity
- Design, analyze, and oversee Mission Critical electrical systems
- Prepare, review, and approve complex engineering deliverables
- Perform and/or oversee advanced electrical analyses
- Provide technical review and quality oversight of work produced by Staff and Associate Engineers
- Serve as a technical lead for electrical scope on Federal Mission Critical projects
- Ensure compliance with the Black & Veatch Quality Program and applicable Federal quality requirements
- Manage assigned electrical engineering scope to meet budget, schedule, and quality objectives
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Associate and Staff Engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience
- U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience delivering mission critical facilities, power reliability projects, or Federal/DoD infrastructure
- Proven experience with specifications development
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Electrical analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM)
