About the role

  • Independently perform and lead electrical engineering work of medium to high complexity
  • Design, analyze, and oversee Mission Critical electrical systems
  • Prepare, review, and approve complex engineering deliverables
  • Perform and/or oversee advanced electrical analyses
  • Provide technical review and quality oversight of work produced by Staff and Associate Engineers
  • Serve as a technical lead for electrical scope on Federal Mission Critical projects
  • Ensure compliance with the Black & Veatch Quality Program and applicable Federal quality requirements
  • Manage assigned electrical engineering scope to meet budget, schedule, and quality objectives
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Associate and Staff Engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
  • Minimum of 11 years related work experience
  • U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience delivering mission critical facilities, power reliability projects, or Federal/DoD infrastructure
  • Proven experience with specifications development
  • Proficiency with engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Electrical analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM)
