About the role

  • Perform engineering assignments of low to medium complexity using standard engineering principles
  • Support the design and documentation of mission critical electrical systems
  • Prepare engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, calculations, specifications, and studies
  • Apply and continue developing knowledge of Federal design standards and workflows
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, and coordination during design and construction phases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) / Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification (passed or in progress)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and apply Federal codes, Mission Critical standards, and client specific requirements
  • Understanding of standby power systems, UPS, grounding, and lightning protection
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
