About the role
- Perform engineering assignments of low to medium complexity using standard engineering principles
- Support the design and documentation of mission critical electrical systems
- Prepare engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, calculations, specifications, and studies
- Apply and continue developing knowledge of Federal design standards and workflows
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, and coordination during design and construction phases
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) / Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification (passed or in progress)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
- Willingness to learn and apply Federal codes, Mission Critical standards, and client specific requirements
- Understanding of standby power systems, UPS, grounding, and lightning protection
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
