About the role
- Apply knowledge gained with experience and begin functioning as a technical specialist under general supervision
- Continue to build on experience and gain more in-depth knowledge working on larger and more complex assignments
- Prepare a variety of increasingly complex engineering deliverables
- Perform research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection
- Prepare increasingly complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
- Recognize, define and resolve problems within assigned area
- May provide direction and guidance to others
- Actively mentor entry level professionals and interns
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Steel and reinforced concrete design at Power Plant and/or Industrial facilities preferred
- Experience writing technical and/or construction specifications
