Function as Project Lead and/or Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers
Develop solutions for complex engineering problems for existing client facilities
Coordinate with local electrical utilities on project technical needs
Coordinate with ESA on project technical requirements
Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
Startup and testing of major electrical equipment
Lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Water Solution team
Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff in regional design centers
Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations
Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services
Review supplier submittals
Act as a liaison between the local design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design
Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations
Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements
Mentor and delegate tasks to develop project execution staff
Ensure compliance with B&V quality program and support continuous improvement
Requirements
5+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services in the Water/Wastewater industry
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer’s license (P. Eng) in applicable region or territory
Active Engineering Registration or Licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary (P.Eng)
Ability to lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing
Strong leaderships skills, with desire to train and develop early career and/or inexperienced professionals
Experience with electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems
Experience coordinating with local electrical utilities and ESA
Experience with construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
Experience with startup and testing of major electrical equipment
Experience reviewing supplier submittals
Experience acting as liaison between local design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design
Knowledge of design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and B&V policies
Ability to prepare complex engineering calculations and engineering deliverables
Support business development, including developing scope-of-work and level-of-effort
