About the role
- Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for heavy civil works projects
- Perform analysis, design calculations, geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements
- Coordinate and manage geotechnical field investigations
- Manage and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting and ground improvement
- Travel on field assignments as required, with field time estimated at 20 to 40%
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls
- Prefer Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with Emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering
- Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) certification
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected)
- Must be U.S. citizen to support U.S. Federal Government project work
