About the role

  • Leads a team of Project Controls (PJC) professionals and able to positively influence clients on complex projects
  • Supports global collaboration efforts
  • Collaborates with project management leadership team
  • Identifies process improvements
  • Leads project risk and change management initiatives
  • Execution Leadership of PJC procedures & tools implementation
  • Ensures transparent project health visibility to the business
  • Escalates project issues and provides resolutions
  • Identifies successful staffing of projects and proposals
  • Provides staff with development opportunities and coaching for career advancement
  • Recognized as an expert in a project controls specialist area
  • Development and delivery of training & skill programs
  • Addresses contractual requirements related to cost/schedule including reviewing contract language and providing feedback
  • Supervises work of others.

Requirements

  • Prefer Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience serving in a Leadership role for medium- to large-sized EPC project
  • Prefer certificate from either PMI or AACE
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree with ten or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR
  • No four-year Bachelor's degree required with twelve years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
