About the role

  • Responsible for procurement, reporting and tracking related to hardware, software and services
  • Provide guidance to the business on existing or future requirements
  • Work with hardware vendors to align device specifications with business needs
  • Perform routine asset clean-up activities related to hardware returns and tracking
  • Facilitate the image creation process and work with internal teams
  • Negotiate directly with vendors on price points
  • Optimize the overall printer, plotter and copier environment
  • Review business hardware forecasts and procurement requirements
  • Provide lease vs purchase analysis

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in IT Procurement or related field
  • Technical skills in hardware evaluations, testing, and baselining
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • IT knowledge of major hardware and software providers and products
  • Experience with contract reviews and vendor negotiations
  • Ability to escalate and negotiate one-on-one with a vendor
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
