About the role

  • Oversee and help safeguard the enterprise on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure secure remote connectivity, optimize security controls, and support cloud-based security platforms.
  • Analyze firewall configurations, audit for overprovisioned access, stale objects, or other deficiencies.
  • Develop and oversee action plans for refinements in firewall configurations.
  • Govern remote connectivity solutions (e.g., VPN, SASE).
  • Oversee the configuration and lifecycle of network appliances.
  • Provide operational support ensuring secure Internet access and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) platforms.
  • Collaborate with SOC teams to investigate anomalies and respond to incidents.
  • Create and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports on trends, remediation progress, and program effectiveness for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE, AZ-500/AZ-305 are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years in network security operations, with hands-on experience in firewall management, remote access technologies, and cloud security platforms.
  • Proven track record of implementing and tuning security controls in enterprise environments.
