About the role
- Assist in designing, implementing, and managing salary structures and incentive schemes.
- Conduct benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitiveness of compensation packages.
- Prepare salary reviews, recommendations, and reports for management approval.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including medical, insurance, retirement plans, leave, and allowances.
- Liaise with benefits providers and resolve employee queries.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Support the development and communication of HR policies related to compensation and benefits.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports for audits and management review.
- Provide guidance to employees on compensation and benefits matters.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports on compensation trends, benefits utilization, and related KPIs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in Compensation & Benefits.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, EPF/SOCSO, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
- Proficient in HRIS systems.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in handling international/global compensation and benefits programs.
