About the role

  • You manage and coordinate projects and initiatives aimed at developing the German and European data economy.
  • You align policy positions with our member companies and represent these positions to policymakers and the public.
  • You draft position papers and technical guidance with a particular focus on the user perspective and practical implementation.
  • You organize and moderate specialist events and conferences, and represent Bitkom, for example on panel discussions or as a speaker.
  • You inform colleagues, our members and the public about current developments in the data economy and make your expertise available to journalists.

Requirements

  • You have completed your degree (e.g., economics, business administration, computer science, communications) with excellent results.
  • You are characterized by a hands-on mentality, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • You enjoy working in a team and are motivated to make an impact.
  • You present yourself confidently and reliably and possess diplomatic skills.
  • You have a quick grasp of complex issues and the ability to explain them clearly and understandably.
  • You want to advance digitalization in Germany and are interested in current political developments.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English.
