About the role

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements for insurance workflow applications.
  • Understand end-to-end business processes within insurance domains (Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting) and identify areas for workflow automation using Appian.
  • Work closely with development teams to design and configure workflows in Appian that streamline insurance processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance process efficiency and user experience through Appian capabilities.
  • Ensure workflows align with best practices for scalability and performance.
  • Assist with the deployment and integration of Appian-based workflow solutions with existing insurance platforms.
  • Support the integration of Appian workflows with Policy Administration Systems, Claims Management Systems, and other enterprise tools.

Requirements

  • Experienced Business Analyst
  • Expertise in workflow platforms, particularly Appian
  • Strong background in insurance processes, such as Policy Administration, Claims, and Underwriting
  • Hands-on experience in Appian or similar workflow automation platforms
  • Proficiency in Appian workflow configuration, process modeling, and integration capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools
