About the role
- Conduct detailed analysis of legacy application to identify business rules, workflows, and requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand the architecture and functionality of existing systems
- Translate findings from code analysis into clear and actionable business requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather additional requirements and clarify ambiguities
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process flows, and use cases
- Partner with development teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented in the modernized application
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to the modernization effort
- Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders on progress and findings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large-scale Application Modernization projects
- Strong expertise in analyzing legacy applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio for documentation and collaboration
- Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
