About the role

  • Conduct detailed analysis of legacy application to identify business rules, workflows, and requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand the architecture and functionality of existing systems
  • Translate findings from code analysis into clear and actionable business requirements
  • Work closely with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather additional requirements and clarify ambiguities
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process flows, and use cases
  • Partner with development teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented in the modernized application
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies related to the modernization effort
  • Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders on progress and findings

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large-scale Application Modernization projects
  • Strong expertise in analyzing legacy applications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio for documentation and collaboration
  • Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
