About the role

  • Develop, implement, and continuously optimize the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across the organization
  • Balance demand with production capacity over a 24-month planning horizon
  • Gather clinical and commercial product demand forecasts and collect internal and external production site capacities and lead times
  • Create supply plans, identify bottlenecks or idle capacities, and develop robust supply scenarios to proactively mitigate risks and ensure reliable supply to patients
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside Supply Chain Management (SCM), as well as across companies

Requirements

  • Proven track record in S&OP planning with strong experience in both clinical and commercial environments
  • Proficiency with planning tools such as Maestro and SAP S/4HANA, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English; German or Chinese language skills are a plus
  • Quick comprehension and analytical thinking to solve complex challenges effectively
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with international teams, including the ability to influence decision-making in a matrix organization
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated supply chain environments
